Increased Printing Charges.
Unfortunately due to the ever increasing costs of energy, we have made the decision to increase our printing costs. They are now;

100 Club Renewals
Our monthly 100 Club draws are set to renew on October 1st - if you are an existing member please ensure your annual £12 subscription is paid by this date. There are a few numbers remaining if new subscribers wish to join, just ask one of our friendly volunteers if you would like more information and to sign up.
#LoveSouthTyneside Awards
Our wonderful volunteers Heidi and Amy were recently nominated for a #LoveSouthTyneside award, and a small delegation of us attended the awards celebration at The Customs House. It was an awe-inspiring look at the fantastic work that volunteers do in our region, and truly an honour to have been nominated alongside such worthy winners!
Board Game Sessions
We have new board games afternoons every Wednesday between 2-4pm.
Only £2 per person, we have Dominoes, Chess, Draughts, Scrabble, Yahtzee, Monopoly and Cards available to use, or why not bring along your own favourite and challenge someone to a game? All are welcome to attend.
Exclusive Greetings Cards and Calendars!
The wonderfully talented artist, T.R Sewell has kindly created original artwork inspired by and depicting scenes of our beautiful village, which have been made into luxury greetings cards and a limited edition calendar to send to your friends and family, both near and far!
These are now available to buy from the library for only £2 each for cards or £10 each for calendars, just ask at the desk. The images have been created exclusively for Whitburn Community Library, and all proceeds go towards the ongoing running of our invaluable service.
